The Sinai Peninsula is a vacation destination the whole year round with an average air temperature of 22°C in winter and 38°C in summer. The hottest months are July and August. The water temperature in winter is not less than 20°C and in summer about 28°C. The Sinai coast offers a dive challenge throughout the year with a visibility of 30 meters.

Entry visa:            Passport still valid at least for 6 months. VISA can be obtained

                                  at the airport. For Sinai you have two visa possibilities: 

                                  The large visa (for whole Egypt including Sinai is approx. 15 US$

                                  and valid for a period of 30 days). The small visa (for the Sinai

                                  only is free of charge and valid for exactly 14 days – however

                                  then you cannot visit the National Park Ras Mohammed).

                                  Make up your decision in advance which visa you require.
